geneartion. Listed are spellings according to the years of the

1830: Wilcot; Wolcot; Wilcox; Woolcott; Woolcut

1890: Willkett; Wilkit; Wilket; Willket (OK)

1910: Same to 1998
As you can tell the name changed quite a bit, which has made it hard to track down the ancestors and descendants. But some of it has been accomplished.
So far we (all of us researching the Wilkett/Wollcott Surname) have only been able to get back to Jeremiah M. Woolcott. We have lots of questions still unanswered, but with time maybe the answers will come to us.
