| Mar 9, 1853 | U.S. to John Larson - Larson dies before 1860. Son Lewis born 1852. Lewis T. Larson, sole heir of John Larson, sells the 80 acres (with other lands) to Michael Christopherson for $1,000. Lewis is 24 years old. |
| Dec 5, 1876 | Michael Christopherson & wife Christa sell the 80 acres to Harold Baker for $575. Michael holds a $400 mortgage, which is paid off in 1879. |
| Feb 12, 1879 | Harold Baker & wife Mary sell the 80 acres to John Christian Christopherson, son of Michael, for $600. John borrows $300 from father Michael to make the purchase. |
| Sept 19, 1881 | Michael Christopherson dies. |
| Nov 8, 1882 | John C. Christopherson's mortgage owed to Michael is assigned to Lewis Larson. Mortgage balance is $200. Interest in this mortage is assigned to John Larson as guardian of Maria Christopherson, daughter of Michael. |
| June 29, 1883 | John C. buys 30 acres form James Glanville, Sr. for $250. |
| Feb 26, 1890 | John pays off the mortgage in full. |
| Nov 29, 1893 | John loses the land for unpaid taxes of $50. Also buys the 40 acres that Koerber owned. (property next over). |
| Feb 28, 1895 | John C. & wife Helen borrow $400 from Elizabeth Richardson as mortgage on the 80 acres. Paid off in 1896. |
| Feb 21, 1896 | John C. & wife Helen borrow again $400 from John Askelson. Paid off in 1899. |
| 1903 | John C. & wife Helen borrow again $2000 from David Walkes. Paid off in 1906. This mortgage is on the 80 acres & the 30 acres and the 40 acres. |
| Aug 18, 1906 | John C. & wife Helen borrow again against the 80 acres & the other acres $700 from Henry Blabaum. Paid off in 1907. |
| Jan 4, 1913 | John C. Christopherson, widower, sells 80 acres & other acres to Martin Severson for $7,400. John C. holds the mortgage for $7,400. |
| Oct 5, 1915 | Martin Severson pays off mortgage. |
| Feb 21,1919 | Martin Severson & wife Clara sell to Frank F. Hanson for $8,850 |
| 1991 | Son of Frank F. Hanson, Robert Hanson sold the Farm and other lands to Jeanne H. Kramer & husband. |
My Great Grandmother Lila Viness Severson Prater was born on the Christopherson lands. She remembers the farm and the various buildings that my ancestors built.
